Getting 2 tagged fishes in the second (suposedly random) catch, means that the 50 tagged fishes (if the tags did not end-up killing some of the fishes :-) ) represent 2 over 50 of the total F, or 1/25 or... 4/100 (4%). If 50 are 4% of F, then we get F = 50/4% = 50/(4/100) = (50x100)/4 = 5000/4. That is 2500/2, or 1250, as states option (C).
